Data Sources

Last updated: 19 May 2026

ToolRancher combines product and retailer data to help users compare tool prices, but source coverage and freshness vary.

Where Data Comes From

Data may come from retailer websites, affiliate feeds, retailer APIs, public product pages, brand catalogues, manually reviewed records, and internal matching workflows.

Price And Availability Refreshes

Prices and stock status can change at any time. We aim to show last checked dates where available and to avoid relying on stale data in price-led results.

Product Matching

Product matching may use MPN, EAN, GTIN, brand, title, category, kit contents, voltage, and other attributes. Similar products can still be confused, especially where kit contents or regional model numbers vary.

Reporting Data Issues

Users, retailers, and rights holders can report incorrect prices, product matches, broken links, image issues, or specification errors through the report route or by emailing contact@toolrancher.com.
